Jummah
Jummah
Jummah prayers begins at 1 pm each and every week.
Friday is known as the day of Jummah and is the most significant day of the week for Muslims. Angels descend to the masjid and records all those who are present. Jummah is a great source of blessings for that person. Tremendous reward can be achieved when a person sits at the masjid and quietly listens to the Imam delivering the Khutba – the Friday Sermon.
Here are some rules that you must follow for Jummah prayers.
1) Dress appropriately and be in a state of cleanliness.
2) come early to the Masjid.
3) Listen attentively to the Khutba. Furthermore, you should not speak with anyone when the Khutba is in progress.
