COVID-19 RELEASE

All praises are for Allah (swt) and choicest blessings on Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

Assalamun Alaikum,

At Masjid AR-Rahman (“MAR”), we are keenly aware of the potential impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are taking steps to provide safety to our members and the community as we navigate through the uncertainty of the outbreak. The actions we are taking include monitoring resources such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); the World Health Organization; the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA); and our local public health department.

As a result, MAR will be closed effective, Monday March 16th for the five (5) daily prayers and all other social and religious activities. This includes the Jumu’ah Salah and Madrasah. We regret to make this decision. Our top priorities are the health and safety of our members and their families. We will continue to monitor guidance from health experts and government recommendations, and will do our very best to inform the members as to when the masjid will be re-open for normal activities. We appreciate your support during this time, and our prayers remain with everyone affected by the COVID-19 crisis. We continue to turn to Allah for his help and guidance. “May Allah protect us and our community from the evil of COVID-19 and all that exist”.
